Saana Isojunno

Saana Isojunno carried out the field work and data analysis for the porpoise survey as part of her master’s project.

She returned to Wales after studying harbour porpoise habitat use in Cardigan Bay in the summer of 2006 as a part of her degree in Aquatic Sciences in University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

She now continues to study for a postgraduate marine mammal science course by the world-renown Sea Mammal Research Unit in the University of St Andrews, Scotland.

Coming from the Finnish Archipelago and having background in environmental issues of the Nordic seas, Saana is dedicated to marine research with conservation applications.
